Posting from an email I received:
| Quote: | I use Dragon, I'm a C-4 quad. I am replacing my cpu and want to know how high I can go on the hardware. My old cpu was a Dell Dimension xps T500. I have been told that Dragon will not work on a 32 bit board. If so, I want to go up in hardware just under the level that's too high. My goal to increase speed etc. I use the classic 3.1 version. What do you recommend? Thanks,

Hi Mark,
I hadn't heard of any problems with 32 bit systems. I'm currently using a ThinkPad T60 laptop (with Laptop Laidback table, gotta love it) 2 GHz CPU, 2 gig RAM, and 100 gig hard drive. Been running Windows XP Pro for a few years now and the only trouble I encountered was task switching (easily resolved though). mind you I don't know if DragonDictate will run on 64 bit systems with Vista, so you might want to get the very best you can... it might have to last for awhile.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
